Felted Woolies are things made from reclaimed, recycled wool. I find wool at thrift stores and garage sales. I clean it, felt it or unravel it, and make new things. I seem to have a bit of trouble focusing on just one project--so I make a lot of different things, practical and not so practical.

Thrift Store Score
I found this great quilt at the thrift store. No, it isn't an authentic Amish made antique. There was a tag that was unreadable, and the way the edge was finished is like the "made in China" quilts. Nonetheless, the colors are great. I cut off an 18" dark blue border, rebound it, and it is now a manageable wall hanging size. I washed it on the sanitize cycle, and it had been washed and used in it's past life, so it looks like a well-worn antique hanging on my wall. All that is left to do is decide exactly where I want it.
